The final Death Star battle in the trenches
F R O M
STAR WARS (1977)

This sequence actually puts the viewer into the action, and makes this final battle a roller coaster ride until the very end. I'm specifically referring to the sequence when the viewer sees the action from the point of view of a pilot, going down into the Death Star trenches, and especially watching on a big screen, the effect was one of the first experiences which have been used in several virtual rides at several theme parks, where you actually feel as if you are in the movie, experiencing the action. Even on smaller screens, the experience is still dizzying. And besides that, the sequence is a rousing final battle, as Luke finally becomes a hero and trusts in the mysterious Force, and the Rebels are victorious over the evil Empire.
